Jennifer Christiansen was born in Ohio and has been living in Michigan for over 25 years. She has been electrifying audiences with her fantastic vocals and stage performance. Jennifer knows how to make each person feel like she is singing directly to them. Her magnetic smile and personality makes you want to get to know her.
Jennifer takes pride in her musical talents. Her whole family has music throughout their blood and she is no exception, deciding to make music her career. She began in 1989 in Washington D.C. singing on a dinner theatre cruise and went on to performing on a cruise ship out of Ft.Lauderdale, Florida, which was then followed by her current success in Detroit, Michigan.
“I never would have thought I would be singing in the Motor City. This is my home now and I am blessed to have such a wonderful ‘music’ Family here. Detroit has taught me the ropes and brought me to where I am today.”
Nailing every note from her smooth alto voice up to her high whistle tones, Jennifer will send chills up and down your spine and bring such warmth to your heart.
She has had the honor of singing on an album with The Four Tops, as well as opening for many acts such as Peabo Bryson, Tony Bennet, Liza Minelli, Barbra Mandrell, Brian McKnight, Rick James, Jessica Simpson, and Chubby Checker. Jennifer performed at The Inaugural Ball for George W.Bush.
Jennifer is also known for singing the National Anthem for every professional sport in Detroit. “I am a straight to the point Anthem Singer. I try not to stray away from the melody too much because it's ‘everyone's Anthem’. I'm singing to represent our country and I want the crowds to be able to sing along with me.”
Pushing herself every day to better her craft, Jennifer loves running, golfing, biking and staying in shape. She believes that is a huge key to life and staying on her “A” game.
